How much does a website cost?
New sites start at $750 at my launch rate. The usual price is $1,500. Bigger sites and web apps are quoted after a short call, with a fixed price in writing.
How does payment work?
We'll set up a payment schedule that fits your business. A common one is a deposit up front and the rest at launch. Care plans are billed monthly.
Do I need a care plan?
No. Care plans are optional and month to month. If you'd rather host and maintain the site yourself, I'll hand everything over.
Who owns the site?
You do. The domain, the content, and the code are yours, and every account is in your name.
How long does a website take?
Most small sites go live within 72 hours of getting your content: your text, photos, and logo. Bigger sites and web apps get a timeline with the quote.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes. You get an editor for text, photos, and pages. On a care plan, you can also just send me the change.
Do you only work with Chicago businesses?
No. I'm based in Chicago and happy to meet local clients in person, and I work remotely with clients anywhere in the US.
I already have a website. Can you help?
Yes. I can improve it, move it to a better platform, or take over its upkeep. Send me the link and I'll tell you what I'd do.
